New colleague joins Lovell Johns - meet Jog

To be more accurate our designer, Ian who had been given the task to create a new character to act as guide to our new web game for children, conceived Jog. Then he was animated by Dave and given a voice by Greg. Over the past year or so, we had developed mapping applications for web sites and we needed a showcase for our skills.

The new game Jog's Travels shows how interactive content can be used to engage with users either as an addition to existing online material or to generate web traffic to online resources.

Over the past year or so, we have developed mapping applications for client web sites and we needed a showcase for our skills. Mapsinternational.co.uk has also launched the new successful range of educational products and we had identified a need for geographical web games for kids. From this small 'seed' we now have a prototype to a range of web games, having made the launch at Frankfurt Book Fair. Much interest was generated at the Fair and it has also sparked the imagination of several of our clients, old and new.

As mentioned previously Jog's Travels is a showcase for our web authoring skills as well as the creative juices that flow in the company. Jog's Travels was tested by pupils at a local primary school and came through with flying colours. With some final polishing the game is now ready for all to see on our new website and will become part of the Maps International site to give a friendly helping hand.

The game itself can be personalised to any degree requested by you. It can be licensed as it is for your website or it can be published on DVD. It can be used simply to help drive traffic to your site, for which we can develop a personalised marketing plan, or it can be part integrated to help you present your own product or web service with 'hot links' to your own web content.
